Brookville Area’s Tate Ortz

Brookville Area Wrestling star Taylor Ortz has reopened his recruiting search after committing to Clarion in October 2014. The 2x PIAA State Third Place Medalist is now reconsidering where he will land following high school.

Tate has been one of the most consistent Class AA wrestlers of the past three seasons entering his final season with a career record of (111-11). As a freshman he was a State Qualifier before finishing in third place the next two seasons at the PIAA State Tournament. Ortz will certainly be a PIAA State Title contender next season likely competing at 126 lbs./132 lbs.

Taylor Ortz is the second big name from the Class of 2016 to reopen his recruiting process after #3 Luke Karam (Bethlehem Catholic) de-committed from Bucknell.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
