Waynesburg Central Senior A.C. Headlee is expecting a WPIAL Finals re-match with 2x PIAA State Champion Luke Pletcher in the PIAA Finals
For the first time in PIAA History the State Wrestling Tournament will feature the largest contingency of wrestlers with 280 qualifying.
Each of the 14 weight classes will include 20 wrestlers for the first time ever. The thing that won’t change is the level of talent. Yes there may be diluted talent in the opening rounds but come Saturday the State’s top wrestlers will be showcased.
