#22 Buttry, #23 Hogue and #52 Hoffman Make College Commitments

Chestnut Ridge’s #22 Connor Buttry recently committed to Sammie Henson and the West Virginia Mountaineers. Last season Buttry was a PIAA State Third Place Medalist at 195 lbs. in his second trip to Hershey, PA. Connor improved by leaps and bounds between his freshman and sophomore seasons going from (17-17) as a rookie to (36-9) during his sophomore campaign. Buttry will be a State Champion contender his senior year at Chestnut Ridge and projects to compete at 197 lbs. for West Virginia.

Reynolds Senior Seth Hogue

#23 Seth Hogue (Reynolds) earned his highest finish at the PIAA State Tournament in 2015 advancing into the State Finals at 126 lbs. where he finished as the State Runner-up. As a junior Hogue finished in fourth place at the PIAA State Tournament a year after qualifying as a freshman. Hogue committed to the Bucknell Bison where he projects to compete at either 125 lbs. or 133 lbs. for head coach Dan Wirnsberger.

Bucknell also received a solid commitment from Montoursville Area senior and 2x PIAA State Medalist #52 Garrett Hoffman. As a junior Hoffman earned his second straight PIAA State Medal finishing in eighth place a year after finishing in sixth place.
