The 2x PIAA State Champion is one of the top middle-weights not only in Pennsylvania but the Nation. Karam can be sure to hear from some of the top NCAA Division I coaches following the announcement.

Brad Wilson of LehighValleyLive first reported the news on July 29th.

“I just feel like I committed too early,” said the Golden Hawks’ two-time PIAA champion. “Nothing really changed with Bucknell. I still love Bucknell and the people up there but that was the only visit I took, I liked it so much. But I want to see all my options that are available.”

Karam had announced a commitment to Bucknell in October 2014, mentioning that Rutgers, Drexel and Lehigh were his other top choices. He declined to mention specific schools he is looking at now, though he did say there are “four or five schools” he is currently looking at.
