Bison Legend Wins Second Straight Waterway Duals
For the second year in a row the Bison Legend Wrestling Club captured the Waterway Duals Championship. A premier pre-season dual Tournament the Waterway Duals are hosted by Oxford Area High School.
Bison Legend, based in Lewisburg, PA at Bucknell University, was led by N.C. State recruit and 2x PIAA State Medalist Hayden Hidlay (Mifflin County) and National Prep Champion Michael Rogers (Wyoming Seminary).
In round 1 Bison Legend took down Contender Elite only giving up one individual defeat in a (56-6) victory. Next up Bison Legend took down Defiant in a (48-3) performance. In the Championship semifinals Bison Legend shut-out a very impressive X-Celerate Team (43-0). Leading the way was Brian Courtney (Athens Area) who majored PIAA State Medalist Kordell Rush (Pennridge) at 126 lbs. score (9-0). In the Championship finals Bison Legend secured their second straight Waterway Duals Title with a (50-0) over New York’s Iowa Style Black.
