PA's Young Guns Black Wins Third Straight NHSCA National Duals

For the third straight year Young Guns Black and head coach Jody Stittmatter have captured the NHSCA National Duals Championship in Virginia Beach, VA.

Young Guns Black went undefeated (11-0) during the three day event in it’s 16th season.

Match #2: YOUNG GUNS BLACK defeated RELENTLESS WRESTLING CLUB (76-0)

Match #3: YOUNG GUNS BLACK defeated OHIO TITANS (67-0)

Match #4: YOUNG GUNS BLACK defeated KEYSTONE JOKERS (60-0)

Match #5: YOUNG GUNS BLACK defeated DIAMOND CUT WRESTLING (56-6)

Match #6: YOUNG GUNS BLACK defeated TEAM NAUMAN BLACK (62-3)

Match #7: YOUNG GUNS BLACK defeated SIR HS (60-3)

Match #8: YOUNG GUNS BLACK defeated SEPA BLUE HS (47-9)

Quarterfinals: YOUNG GUNS BLACK defeated SOUTH FLORIDA LIGHTNING (40-13)

Semifinals: YOUNG GUNS BLACK defeated SHORE THING SURF (37-12)

Championship Match: YOUNG GUNS BLACK defeated NY KONG (26-21)

Young Guns Black outscored their opponents with an impressive (603-67) point margin in 11 victories.

Led by PIAA State Champion Michael Kemerer (Franklin Regional) and 2x PIAA State Champion Sam Krivus (Hempfield Area) the Young Guns Black squad faced it toughest challenge in the finals against a stacked New York team.

In the final bout at heavyweight PIAA State Medalist Jake Beistel (Southmoreland) held on ultimate tiebreaker to win (2-1) and seal the victory at (26-21). It was the third straight year that Young Guns Black and Jody Strittmatter captured the NHSCA National Duals.
