Final NHSCA Senior National Brackets

Still riding the wave of momentum gained at the PIAA State Tournament Nazareth Area senior Tyrone Klump advanced into the finals of the NHSCA Senior Nationals at 120 lbs. In the final high school match of his career Klump finally bested District 11 rival and 2x PIAA State Champion Ethan Lizak (Parkland) to earn his second straight PIAA State third place medal. Klump was unable to earn the NHSCA Senior National Championship, falling to California’s Mason Pengilly in he finals (5-2).

2014 undefeated PIAA Class AA State Champion Ian Brown (Hanover) rebounded from a semifinal loss to finish in third place at 132 lbs. Fellow undefeated 2014 PIAA Class AA State Champion Tristan Sponseller (Bermudian Springs) advanced into the finals at 195 lbs. where he fell to top 10 Nationally ranked wrestler Marcus Harrington (Iowa) by decision (7-5). At 220 lbs. PIAA Class AAA State third place medalist Jake Gunning (Bethlehem Liberty) had an impressive NHSCA Senior National Tournament finishing in fourth place.
