Three PA Top 25 Recruits Make College Commitments

This week three Pennslyvania wrestlers ranked in the top 25 decided where they will continue their wrestling and educational careers. View the “Top 300 Recruits” of the Class of 2015.

#16 Jared Walker (South Fayette), a 2014 PIAA State Runner-up at 160 lbs., will be heading to the rising NCAA Division I program Kent State in Ohio. Walker was a PIAA State Qualifier his freshman season and earned his first PIAA State Medal in 2013 placing seventh. Jared enters his senior season with a (113-26) career record and will be a favorite to capture a PIAA State Championship.

Saegertown wrestler #17 Dylan Reynolds fell short of his goal of a PIAA State Championship in 2014 but earned his second career PIAA State Medal. Reynolds finished in fourth as a sophomore and jumped one spot up as a junior finishing in third place. The Saegertown Panther has given a verbal commitment to Troy Letters and his Clarion Golden Eagle wrestling team. Reynolds will be a favorite to capture a PIAA State Championship in 2015. He enters his senior season with a (117-21) career record. Reynolds announced his commitment on Twitter.

 

Blairsville’s #22 Andrew Doak has been a name PA Wrestling fans have been familiar with for quite some time. The tough nosed wrestler has given a verbal commitment to American University. Doak is a 3x PIAA State Medalist finishing seventh in all three trips to Hershey. Doak enters his senior season with a (116-18) career record and is predicted to improve on his three seventh place medals at the PIAA State Tournament. Drew also went to Twitter to let followers know of his decision.
