Team Post-Season in Motion
Is it just me or has the season flew by? It is hard to believe we are already well into the team post-season round of wrestling. With that said, the individual rankings have been shaking up with several top-ranked wrestlers dropping a weight-class, such as Solomon Chishko and Tyson Dippery, and possibly more will continue. Below is a look at each of the Districts as well as the PIAA State Dual Team brackets and information.
District 1 (AAA & AA) Dual Tournament Bracket
Both the quarter-final (6:00) and semi-final (8:00) round matches will be wrestled on Friday February 3rd at Upper Dublin High School. The Championship (4:00) and Consolation semi-finals (1:00) and consolation final (4:00) will take place on Saturday February 4th at Upper Dublin High School.
District 3 (AAA) Dual Tournament Bracket
District 3 (AA) Dual Tournament Bracket
Central Dauphin vs. Mechanicsburg will be the Championship match in District 3 AAA on Saturday February 4th (1:30) at Milton Hershey High School. Big Spring vs. Manheim Township will be wrestling for 3rd place; same time and location. All 4 remaining teams in AAA advance to the PIAA State Dual Team Championship. The AA Championship match between Boiling Springs and Bremudian Springs will also take place Saturday February 4th at Milton Hershey High School at 11:00. Both teams advance to the AA State Dual Team Championship.
District 4 (AAA & AA) Dual Tournament Bracket
In AAA, District 4 Jersey Shore is the #1 Seed and will face either Selinsgrove or Williamsport in the finals on Saturday February 4th at 6 PM at Milton High School. The winner of this match will qualify for the PIAA State Dual Tournament. In AA, the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals will be held on Saturday February 4th at Milton High School from 11:00 to 8:00. Central Columbia is the #1 seed and Wyalusing is the #2 seed. The top two teams will qualify for the PIAA State Dual Tournament.
District 5 (AA) Dual Tournament Bracket
The District 5 AA Dual Tournament semi-finals and finals take place on Saturday February 4th at Bedford High School from 11:00 to 4:00. The top two teams will qualify for the PIAA State Dual Tournament.
