Manheim Twp. Smith Twins to Clarion; Ty Walter to Cornell

Manheim Township senior twin brothers Alex and Adam Smith have committed to continue their wrestling careers at Clarion. In three seasons at Menheim Twp. the brothers have combined for a (173-46) career record as both finished fourth at the South Central Regional Tournament in 2012, one win shy from qualifying for their first PIAA State Tournament. Alex predicts to compete at 133/141 lbs. while Adam predicts to compete at 141/149 lbs.
2011 PIAA State Medalist Ty Walter (Mifflinburg Area) has given a commitment to Rob Koll and Cornell. The senior, who finished in sixth place at the PIAA State Class AA Tournament as a sophomore, was a PIAA State Qualifier last season and enters this season with a (95-18) career record in search of a second PIAA State Medal.
Kiski Area’s 2012 PIAA State Qualifier Cole Landowski has committed to wrestler at Pitt-Johnstown next year. The senior, who projects to compete at 141/149 lbs. in college, has a career record of (80-28) in search of his first PIAA State Medal.
