State Rankings Updated as Solomon Chishko Returns

Canon-McMillan junior Solomon Chishko has not stepped foot on the mat this season but this weekend he returns. The 2x PIAA Class AAA Third Place Medalist is the #1 seed at 145 lbs. in the WPIAL Section 4 Tournament. Chishko enters this season with a 90-7 career record and will be in search of his third straight WPIAL Championship. Solomon will certainly be tested out in the WPIAL as he will face one of the State’s top sophomores Josh Shields (Franklin Regional) a returning PIAA Medalist. If fully healthy and conditioned, expect Chishko to be a favorite in both the WPIAL and State at 145 lbs.
