This is the second high profile eligibility ruling made by the WPIAL in the last three years. In 2011 junior Cody Wiercioch was ruled ineligible by the WPIAL for his move from Charleroi High School to Canon-McMillan High School. Wiercioch was a PIAA Class AA State Champion in 2010 while at Charleroi. The ruling was appealed to the PIAA and over-turned allowing Wiercioch to compete in the 2011-2012 Season.

It could take weeks for the PIAA to rule on Brown’s eligibility.
