Freshman #25 Patrick Gould Stuns State Champ #4 Tyson Klump

Rookie sensation #25 Patrick Gould (East Stroudsburg Area South) will be making a move upwards after an upset victory over #4 Tyson Klump (Nazareth Area) at 113 lbs. on Friday night. In a dual meet that saw #5 Nazareth Area control their District 11 opponent Gould was a bright spot for South coming away with a (8-6) win over returning PIAA State Champion #4 Tyson Klump.

Entering his freshman season Patrick Gould was ranked #24 in the 2016 Top Incoming Freshmen by PA Power Wrestling. So far his record his now (20-1) on the year with his only defeat coming at the hands of #9 Ryan Anderson (Bethlehem Catholic) in the Christmas City Tournament Finals. Expect to see #25 Gould break into the Top 10 in the State AAA Rankings next week.
