We get to see a Top 10 match-up early on in the SC Regional at 106 pounds with #9 Leiphart vs. #10 Clawson. The two have not faced off this year but both lost to Biglerville rookie Levi Haines at the Carlisle Holiday Tournament. Clawson lost in the finals by tech-fall (17-1) whereas Leiphart fell to Haines (9-7) in the quarterfinals.

#18 Cole Bear (Cedar Cliff) vs. #23 Josh Miller (Central Dauphin)

These two did not meet this season but have had similar results and opponents. Each had no issues getting to the quarterfinals and both have been SC Regional 6th place previously.

#7 Will Betancourt (Manheim Central) vs. #19 Timothy Uhler (New Oxford) 

Betancourt is in search of his third straight SC Regional Championship and was a PIAA State Medalist last season at 113 pounds. He will take on State Qualifier Tim Uhler who has has defeated three times in his career – all last season. Uhler defeated a tough Jeffrey Russell (Shippensburg) in the first round .

#15 Rafeal Portilla (Carlisle) vs. #19 Logan Paulch (Central York)

These two have not wrestled this season but, like 113 pounds, they have had similar results against common opponents. Portilla was section runner-up last week against #1 JJ Wilson while Paulch was a Section 4 Champion.

#13 Clay Baker (Spring Grove) vs. #15 Bryce Brennan (Red Land) 

Brennan was a State Qualifier last year while Baker made it to Hershey in 2017. They have not wrestled this season. 

 

#12 Cade Reichart (Cumberland Valley) vs. #19 Cade Zeamer (Manheim Central)

The battle of Cade will take place in the quarterfinals as Reichart had a solid Sectional Tournament last weekend and Zeamer was a Section 2 Champion. These two have not faced one another previously but this season both has lost to Michael Cassidy and each own a win over Bryce Brennan.

#17 Tommy Dressler (Spring Grove) vs. #22 Hunter Gregoris (Big Spring)

#17 Tommy Dressler is a sophomore who is in his first post-season while Gregoris is making his third trip to the Regional Tournament. Gregoris made a splash last week when he won the Section 1 Championship knocking off Tate Nichter (Chambersburg). They have never wrestled but have both lost to Luke Saniato (Gettysburg) and each defeated Pierce Feite (Northern York) this season.

#8 Jarrett Feeney (Dallastown Area) vs. #13 Nehemiah Diggs (Harrisburg) 

A pair of 2018 PIAA State Qualifiers will clash at 182 pounds. They have not faced each other this year but both wrestled #9 Nyiem Flucas (Hershey). Feeney defeated Flucas in December (3-1) while Diggs won in tiebreaker over him last season.

#6 Raymond Christas (Dallastown Area) vs. #10 Jordan Espinosa (Governor Mifflin)

We love the heavyweight bracket here in District 3. Another top ten match-up will take place as 2018 PIAA State Qualifier Jordan Espinosa faces #6 Raymond Christas. The two have wrestled three times in their career with Espinosa leading it two matches to one. Christas, however, won the most recent meeting when he picked-up a (3-1) decision in January.
