#10 Braxton Fries-Appello (Easton Area) vs. #20 Austin Fashouer (West Scranton)

Fries-Appello made a splash last weekend when he wont the District XI Tournament beating Dante Frinzi o BECAHI. He shouldn’t look past Austin Fashouer who is a sophomore with a (32-3) season record.

 

120 Pounds

#4 Sean Pierson (Nazareth Area) vs. #7 Eamonn Logue (Father Judge)

Eamonn Logue took out PIAA State Runner-up Killian Delaney (West Chester Henderson) earlier this season. Can he take out top senior Sean Pierson?

 

126 Pounds

#6 David Krokowski (Wyoming Valley West) vs. #8 Michael Torres (Liberty)

A top ten match-up in the NE Regional Quarterfinals seems about right in this STACKED bracket. Krokowski (pictured) was a PIAA State Qualifier last year while Torress is looking for his first trip to Hershey. 

 

132 Pounds

#14 Drew Clearie (Nazareth Area) vs. #17 JJ White (Wyoming Valley West)

JJ White is up two weight-classes from 120 pounds where he will take on sophomore Drew Clearie who is in his first post-season. 

 

145 Pounds

#5 Nathan Stefanik (Nazareth Area) vs. #10 Ceaser Fountain (Father Judge)

PIAA State Medalist Nathan Stefanik had a late start to the season due to injury and will need to grind his way back to the PIAA State Tournament. He will face the always tough explosive Ceaser Fountain in another top ten match-up.

 

152 Pounds

#4 Jeremiah Oakes (Scranton) vs. #9 Jake Dressler (Nazareth Area)

Oakes is a hammer but hasn’t been tested very often this season. This top-ten match-up will feature #9 Jake Dressler who is a junior with a solid portfolio this season. 

 

170 Pounds

#18 Brenden Spicer (Father Judge) vs. #20 Joshua Talijan (Liberty)

#5 Angel Garcia (Mariana Bractti Academy) vs. #19 Isaiah Reinert (Easton Area)
