Fidelibus and Saylor Win Reno TOC Championships

The Easton Area Red Rovers have a long tradition of success at the Reno Tournament of Champions in Nevada. 2015 was no different as two Easton wrestlers ended on top of the podium. 2015 PIAA State Third Place Medalist Evan Fidelibus dropped from 145 lbs. and had no issues capturing the Championship title at 138 lbs. His closest match came in the semifinals where he faced fellow District 11 wrestler and PIAA State Medalist Lucas Shaf (Emmaus). Fidelibus managed to pick up a (5-2) decision. Schaf bounced back to finish in third place.

Senior Jimmy Saylor added a Reno TOC Title to his resume after several years of falling just short. The PIAA State Medalist was the #1 seed at 152 lbs. and he showed why. Saylor picked up five straight pins, all in under 1:04, to advance into the finals. There he picked up a (6-3) win over the #3 seed.

Also earning Reno TOC hardware was Easton Area’s Casin Corallo who made his decent down to 106 lbs. where the senior finished in third place. In addition to Lucas Shaf Emmaus saw two other wrestlers on the podium with Tyler Copra finishing sixth at 132 lbs. and Dan Obeerle grabbing seventh place at 195 lbs.
