Big 10 Conference Tournament Pre-Seeds Announced; Pennsylvania Totals 11

The biggest, baddest, and most competitive conference championship in NCAA Wrestling is the B1G and pre-seeds include eleven wrestlers from Pennsylvania. Leading the charge is 2-time NCAA Champion and undefeated senior Zain Retherford (Benton/Penn State) who once again is the favorite at 149 lbs. Joining Zain are two Pennsylvania studs who share the top seed at 157 lbs. with NCAA Champion Jason Nolf (Kittanning/Penn State) and Michael Kemerer (Franklin Regional/Iowa).

Returning NCAA Champion Vincenzo Joseph, due to his defeat to Iowa’s Alex Marinelli two weeks ago, is the third seed at 165 lbs. behind Isaiah Martinez (Illinois). Super frosh Spencer Lee (Franklin Regional/Iowa) is the second seed at 125 lbs. in a loaded bracket that includes #1 Nick Suriano (Rutgers), former NCAA Champion Nathan Tomasello (Ohio State), and NCAA Runner-up Ethan Lizak (Parkland/Minnesota).

Two Pennsylvania wrestlers are seeded at 133 lbs. with sophomore Luke Pletcher (Greater Latrobe/Ohio State) holding the #2 spot and Corey Keener (Blue Mountain/Penn State) coming in at #6.
