PITTSBURGH – Teams for the 44th Annual Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic have been finalized to include the State’s top seniors. Highlighting Team PA is 4-time State Champion Gavin Teasdale (Jefferson Morgan) and 3-time State Champion Gavin Hoffman (Montoursville). Additionally Class AAA studs Sammy Sasso and Trent Hidlay, both 2-time PA State Champions, will look to lead the Keystone State.

Lehigh commit and 2-time Pennsylvania State Champion Jaret Lane (Southern Columbia) will occupy one of the two 120 lbs. slots for Team PA and take on 2x Illinois State Champ Joey Melendez of Montini Catholic. In the other 120 lbs. slot 1-time State Champ Logan Macri (Canon-McMillan) will meet 3-time Minnesota State Champion Patrick McKee.

2-time Pennsylvania State Champions Cole Matthews (Reynolds) and Cody Mulligan (Saegertown) also get the nod at their respective weights. Jack Davis, from Hanover Township, PA, is a 2-time National Prep Champion from Wyoming Seminary and will be competing in his future home gym as the senior committed to the Pitt Panthers.

Wrestling takes place on Sunday March 25th at 4:00 PM inside the Fitzgerald Field House.
