PIAA Team State Videos Now Available

Once again PA’s top teams provided an exciting Team State Dual Tournament for fans, wrestlers and coaches alike. With the tournament running on Thursday, Friday and Saturday there were naturally many empty seats in the GIANT Center, however, intense wrestling and fierce competition were not absent from Hershey, PA.

In AAA the highlight of the Tournament was the semi-final shoot-out between reining 4x State Champions Central Dauphin and the loaded team from Canon McMillan. Canon Mac won the dual (28-25) and went on to win the Championship with a (35-20) victory of District 10’s Erie McDowell. In AA, Bethlehem Catholic, arguable the most complete team in PA regardless of class level, won their second straight Dual Team Championship with relative ease over District 3’s Boiling Spring (52-15).

I filmed the entire semi-final match between Canon McMillan and Central Dauphin, which had been highly anticipated all season. This match was some of the best wrestling PA can offer and did not disappoint fans.
