The post-season has begun and the National High School Coaches Association National Tournaments are taking place.

Athens Area Brian Courtney defeated fellow PA freshman Aaron Rump (Chambersburg Area) to advance into the Championship semifinals at 106 lbs. Courtney is one of many wrestlers who have been competing at the Freshman Nationals. 2014 PIAA State runner-up John Pipa (Bishop McDevitt) is competing at 113 lbs. where he advanced into the semifinals.
